Highton Residence

Nestled within a picturesque hillside, the Highton Residence stands as a modern interpretation of Frank Lloyd Wright’s geometric principles. Its design pays homage to the Prairie School tradition, blending seamlessly with the natural terrain while exploring the interplay of form, space, and light.

The residence is rectilinear with low-pitched roof extends over expansive glass façade atrium. This architectural feature establishes a transitional space within the dwelling, allowing light, air and passage across all levels.

Clean lines and horizontal planes define the architectural language, echoing Wright’s signature style. The open floor plan seamlessly integrates living, dining, and culinary areas, fostering a sense of connectivity and cohesion.

As one ascends though the residence, the transition from utility spaces and then private bedrooms enables windows that frame panoramic vistas of the surrounding landscape.

Throughout the residence, careful attention is paid to the interplay of light and shadow, creating dynamic compositions that evolve throughout the day.
